Marriage - Maintaning Your Identity
*Do you ever feel that time is moving really fast, without you having done any of the things you once dreamt of doing?
*Do you ever tell yourself that you've forgotten who you are?
*What about 'me' time - is this something which makes you feel guilty?
If you've answered 'yes' to the above questions, perhaps it's time to ask yourself how important you are to you.
ILM for Women presents 'Marriage - Maintaining your Identity' the second session in our Live, Love and Learn series of morning programmes, especially designed to assist the Muslim woman in navigating her way through the ups and downs of everyday life.
This session will be presented by Zohra Sooliman. Zohra is the co-founder of the Gift of the Givers Foundation, an NGO known for its humanitarian and social response operations both locally & abroad. She is the director of one of the 21 projects of the GOTG - the GOTG Careline, which is a telephone counseling service. The Careline essentially offers telephone and face-to-face counselling, runs various training programmes, support groups, awareness and development programmes aimed at service users, volunteers, organisations and the community. Zohra is a UKZN graduate and is currently engaged in post graduate studies in trauma work.
DATE: Tuesday, March 18th 2014, in sha Allah
TIME: 9am to 12pm
VENUE: Randeree's Braai Ranch, 49 Collingham Road, Sherwood
COST: R130 per ticket, including brunch
Tickets now available at the ILM-SA offices, in Parking C of the NMJ Islamic Centre - open Mondays to Thursdays 9am to 1pm, as well as from 2.30pm to 4.45pm on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, 9am to 11am Fridays, and 11am to 1pm Saturdays.
