Ingredients:
- 2 slices bread
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1/2 avocado, mashed
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon lime juice
- 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Put mashed avocado, garlic powder, onion powder, lime juice, salt, and pepper in a small bowl
On one side of each piece of bread, spread half of the butter
Put one slice of bread in a pan over medium-low heat with the butter side down
Spread the avocado mash on top of the slice of bread in the pan
On top of the avocado mix, sprinkle cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese
Put the second slice of bread on top, butter side up
About 3 to 4 minutes, or until the bottom piece of bread is golden brown and crispy and the cheese melts
This will take about three to four minutes more
The second side of the sandwich should be golden brown and crispy
Take it out of the pan and let it cool down a bit before cutting it
Enjoy while still warm!
