Ingredients:
- 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
- 1 medium-sized beet, peeled and sliced
- 2 tablespoons raw honey
- 1 tablespoon sea salt
- Filtered water
Instructions:
Place the sliced strawberries and beet in a clean, quart-sized glass jar
In a separate bowl, mix the raw honey and sea salt with 2 cups of filtered water until dissolved
Pour the honey and salt mixture over the strawberries and beet slices in the glass jar
Add enough filtered water to the jar to fill it almost to the top, leaving about 1 inch of space
Seal the jar with a tight-fitting lid
Allow the jar to sit at room temperature for 2-3 days, burping it once a day to release excess gas buildup
After 2-3 days, strain the liquid into a clean container, discarding the solids
Transfer the liquid back into the glass jar and refrigerate for an additional 2-3 days to enhance the flavor and probiotic content
