Bratapfel vom OFYR



A delicious German dessert called Bratapfel vom OFYR is made of baked apples that are filled with a sweet and nutty mixture. Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup chopped nuts e
  • g
  • , almonds or walnuts
  • 1/4 cup raisins
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • Vanilla ice cream optional, for serving

Instructions:

Get your air fryer ready by heating it up to 350F 175C

Clean the apples and cut out the core, but don't cut off the bottoms

That will make a space for the stuffing

Brown sugar, chopped nuts, raisins, ground cinnamon, ground cloves, and ground nutmeg should all be mixed together in a bowl

Combine well

Fill the inside of each apple with the sugar and nut mixture, making sure it fits tightly

The stuffed apples should be put in the air fryer basket

Add a small piece of butter and honey to the top of each apple

If you air fry the apples for 15 to 20 minutes, or until they are soft and the skin starts to blister and turn caramel, you're done

Take the apples out of the air fryer carefully and let them cool a bit before you serve them

If you want, you can serve the Bratapfel vom OFYR with vanilla ice cream

Guacamole Grilled Cheese



This is a tasty take on the traditional grilled cheese sandwich. It has guacamole and melted cheese between two pieces of crispy bread.

Ingredients:

  • 2 slices bread
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1/2 avocado, mashed
  • 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon lime juice
  • 1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions:

Put mashed avocado, garlic powder, onion powder, lime juice, salt, and pepper in a small bowl

On one side of each piece of bread, spread half of the butter

Put one slice of bread in a pan over medium-low heat with the butter side down

Spread the avocado mash on top of the slice of bread in the pan

On top of the avocado mix, sprinkle cheddar and Monterey Jack cheese

Put the second slice of bread on top, butter side up

About 3 to 4 minutes, or until the bottom piece of bread is golden brown and crispy and the cheese melts

This will take about three to four minutes more

The second side of the sandwich should be golden brown and crispy

Take it out of the pan and let it cool down a bit before cutting it

Enjoy while still warm!

Patriotic BBQ Dessert



Celebrate Independence Day with this patriotic dessert made on the BBQ grill. Layers of red, white, and blue cake, topped with whipped cream and fresh berries, create a festive and delicious treat for your 4th of July celebration.

Ingredients:

  • 1 box red velvet cake mix
  • 1 box blue velvet cake mix
  • 1 box white cake mix
  • Eggs, oil, and water as per cake mix instructions
  • Whipped cream
  • Fresh strawberries
  • Fresh blueberries

Instructions:

Preheat your BBQ grill to 350F 175C

Prepare each cake mix according to package instructions

Pour each cake batter into separate disposable aluminum pans, creating layers of red, white, and blue

Place the pans on the BBQ grill and close the lid

Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean

Remove from the grill and let the cakes cool completely

Once cooled, carefully remove the cakes from the pans and place them on a serving platter, layering them with whipped cream and fresh berries between each layer

Top the final layer with whipped cream and decorate with additional berries to create a patriotic design

Chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve

Strawberry-Beet Kvass



Strawberry-Beet Kvass is a delicious and gut-healthy beverage that combines the natural sweetness of strawberries with the earthy flavor of beets. It's packed with probiotics and is suitable for a Paleo, AIP, and GAPS diet.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1 medium-sized beet, peeled and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons raw honey
  • 1 tablespoon sea salt
  • Filtered water

Instructions:

Place the sliced strawberries and beet in a clean, quart-sized glass jar

In a separate bowl, mix the raw honey and sea salt with 2 cups of filtered water until dissolved

Pour the honey and salt mixture over the strawberries and beet slices in the glass jar

Add enough filtered water to the jar to fill it almost to the top, leaving about 1 inch of space

Seal the jar with a tight-fitting lid

Allow the jar to sit at room temperature for 2-3 days, burping it once a day to release excess gas buildup

After 2-3 days, strain the liquid into a clean container, discarding the solids

Transfer the liquid back into the glass jar and refrigerate for an additional 2-3 days to enhance the flavor and probiotic content
